Mohit Musaddi is a Fellow at the Politeia Research Foundation (PRF). He is also the Regional Manager for Information Services for the Asia-Pacific region at SF Group, London since November 2021. At the SF Group, Mohit monitors security and risk developments across 22 countries in the region, and also piracy and other security-related incidents across the Southeast Asia maritime region.

Mohit also works as a Researcher on India-Bangladesh and India-Myanmar relations at the Institute of Social and Cultural Studies (ISCS) Kolkata, India. He was previously a Research Associate at the Delhi Policy Group (DPG), India from 2017-2021.

At DPG, he focused on the organisation’s BBIN and BIMSTEC projects, covered developments in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal and Sri Lanka for the monthly publication DPG India Strategic Review and was the lead research associate for the India-Japan Track 1.5 Dialogues from 2018-2020.

He has an MA in International Relations from the War Studies Department of King’s College London and a BA (Hons.) in Political Science from Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi. His MA thesis focused on the difference in narratives between the Al Jazeera Arabic and Al Jazeera English media networks in their coverage of the Israel-Palestine conflict. Mohit’s areas of interest include developments in the Indian Foreign Policy and security and connectivity-related issues across the Indo-Pacific region. He speaks fluent English, Hindi, Bengali and Nepali.
