Emanuele Rossi is an international affairs specialist whose work centres on the Mediterranean and its strategic links to the wider world. He is Diplomatic Editor at Formiche and a senior analyst at Decode39 and the Med-Or Italian Foundation, and he collaborates with a range of international think tanks and media outlets. His analysis focuses on the strategic interconnections among the Mediterranean, the Indo-Pacific, and the Middle East, and he writes regularly on transatlantic relations, great power competition, maritime security, geoeconomics, and emerging strategic challenges (core focus: AI), with particular attention to relations among the United States, China, India, and Europe. Rossi follows developments in the Indo-Pacific closely, including through his Telegram channel “Indo Pacific Diary,” and he produces analyses, articles, and reports for Italian and international publications, companies, and research institutions. His commentary regularly addresses the security and economic dimensions of competition among the major powers. He holds a master’s degree in geological and earth sciences from the University of Perugia.
